Harbury Caravan Club Site nr Leamington Spa. A newish site with very pleasant views. New toilet block with very spacious shower cubicles. Harbury village about 1.5 miles away that boats 6 pubs - also has several shops to restock good supplies.

Harbury Windmill nr Leamington Spa. An interesting and different type of windmill about 400 years old. A great observation point as can see for miles. The site overlooks the mounds and ditches of the old roman town of Chesterton that lies next to the Fosse Way.

The Greenway Cycle and Walking Trail whIch was an old railway passing north to south past Stafford on Avon. A gentle 5 mile stretch south to the next village (although the trail goes on a lot further) from the campsite on the Stratford Racecourse to a pub serving good food and beer, makes a nice lazy cycle ride!

Coughton Court a National Trust property near Redditch makes a pleasant stop enroute (awkward access for caravans and large motorhomes). Another big old house with plenty of interesting history, many well kept gardens and plenty of open spaces to walk.

Stratford on Avon apart from being the birthplace and final resting place of Shakespeare makes a good days visit even for non Shakespearean fans. Some good restaurants and old pubs, a superb riverside park with all types of boat trips and boat hire. A vast riverside park and a the tower of the Shakespeare Theatre is worth a visit for the views over the town and surrounding areas. 
Easy to get to from the caravan site based on the Racecourse - about a 20min walk or a traffic free cycle ride of about 10 minutes
