Forestside Farm Caravan Site, Staffordshire - Camping PodsWelcome to our Camping Pods.....................
![]() Pod camping takes the trauma out of camping....no tent to put up and if the weather is bad, no wet tent to pack away. There are 2 Camping pods available and they are an eco-friendly alternative to camping. They are also more secure than tents as they have lockable French windows which are double glazed to reduce condensation and provide sound insulation. There is a small, high level window in the back wall this not only provides light but will help keep the living space well ventilated and aid 'through draft on hot summer days. Each Pod has lighting, heating and a carpeted floor. The roof is designed to deal with a sudden down pour and the pod walls are insulated with sheep wool, while a special foil layer under the roof helps keep summer temperatures in check, making the camping pods practical whatever the weather!
The pods have plenty of head room and can accommodate up to 5 people. You basically bring everything you need for a camping trip, minus the tent! The Pods have a decking area and small porch, which is great for sunbathing and al fresco dining and on rainy days offer a dry alternative to canvas camping. Both Pods have their own picnic table. On site there are toilets and complimentary
showers - 2 Ladies toilets / shower rooms - 2 Gents toilets / shower
rooms Please note that dogs are not allowed inside the Camping Pods. The Pods are designed for families/family groups and are not bookable to groups of youths/students.
