WHAT TO DO & WHERE TO GO
i.
There is a theatre and close by Castlerigg Stone Circle.
An open top bus can be catch in the town and head out to
Seatoller and walk back via Rosthwaite then through Borrowdale
and back to the waters edge and follow the edge of Derwent Water
and catch the boat back across the lake to Keswick. Another day
out is to catch the boat from Keswick over to the other side and
scale Cat Bells. Returning then by foot and using the various
places that the boat stops around the lake.
Other places to explore are Wast Water, Eskdale, Ullswater,
Cockermouth and Penrith.
Grizedale Forest is great for walking and cycling. There are
sculptures dotted around the forest.
