Monsall Trail Cycle Path. A great way to cycle safely and see
some great Derbyshire sights.

in one of the Peak Districts best villages with loads of good

pleasant walks along the riverside.Don't forget to sample the

A 5 mile walk around
Coombs Reservoir nr Whaley Bridge,
Derbyshire. Starting from a car park next to the reservoir
itself along some very muddy paths rising up to some great views
as in the photo. 2 pubs en route the Beehive serving a selection
of real ales and good food.

The Peak District is so easy to get to from the North and
Midlands so no wonder it is popular. A walk with an eerie
feeling is around the Errwood Reservoir taking in the remains of Errwood Hall in the Goyt Valley.

Elvaston Country Park near Borrowash, Derbyshire. A vast
park to explore with many interesting features. Cafe and gardens
plenty to see and do for all ages. Found the old "mothballed"
Caravan Club Site which had been closed for many years - shame
such a great location but many other campsites in the area. It
was one of the first campsites we visited when we started
caravanning 33 years ago!!
