CARAVAN COVERS

General Information

Caravan Covers are protective covers intended for storage of your caravan, motorhome or even your car or helicopter if you tow one of those! It is important that any cover you use should be well fitting and secure, a loose fitting material flapping against the side of a van must be expected to do a fair amount of damage to the paint surfaces if left for long-ish periods such as when a van is in winter storage.

You should consider whether or not you are likely to need access to your van during it's time under cover, and if you do then you need to ensure the cover you purchase has this access rather than having to remove and refit a cover, possibly in poor weather conditions

There is some debate as to whether or not covers are good or potentially bad, study the information and make your own judgement on the matter. If your van is parked under trees, then not having to clean off the birdie poo, tree resin and algae, and other assorted muck may make having a cover well worth it. On the other hand, then you have to clean the cover somehow?
